We are founded upon the belief that the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God.
We believe in the great commission and are endeavoring to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with love, mercy and compassion.
We believe in the one eternal, invisible God (Deuteronomy 6:4). He is the creator of heaven and earth, and of all living beings. This one true God has revealed Himself as Father and Creator, through his Son in redemption, and as the Holy Spirit dwelling within us.
We believe that the Bible is the inspired, authoritative, living, eternally reliable Word of God equally in all parts and without error in its original manuscript, absolutely infallible, and our source of supreme revelation from God, superior to conscience and reason, though not contrary to reason; and it is therefore our infallible rule of faith and practice and necessary to our daily lives (II Timothy 3:16-17; I Peter 1:23-25; Hebrews 4:12)
We believe that “it is by grace you have been saved, through faith–and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God–not by works, so that no one can boast” (Ephesians 2:8-9). It is by grace through faith that each believer finds resurrection from a life of despondency to a life of hope. Because all men have sinned and need redemption, faith in the shed blood of Christ gives the believer life everlasting. Those repenting of sin and being born again of water and spirit become children of God and heirs with Christ (Acts 2:38).
We believe in water baptism by immersion in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sin. Through baptism we identify with the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ Romans 6:3-6; Colossians 2:11-14; Acts 2:38.
We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the initial sign of speaking in other tongues, His present ministry, His indwelling, His empowering, His impartation of gifts for today, and His transforming power in the lives of all believers (I Cor. 12:4-11, Gal 5:22-23).
These truths are not just words on a page to us, they are the heartbeat of our church family. We know the one true God not as an abstract idea but as our Father, Redeemer, and Comforter who walks with us daily. His Word is more than history or literature; it is the living voice of God that corrects us, guides us, and gives us hope when life feels uncertain. Repentance, baptism, and Spirit baptism are not rituals to us but real encounters with the grace of God that have changed our lives forever. Many among us can testify of how the Lord has lifted us from brokenness into joy, how His Spirit has given power to overcome sin, and how His Word has brought clarity in the middle of confusion. When we gather to worship, we do so with expectancy because we have seen what God can do. We believe that revival is not only possible but promised, a revival that begins in our own hearts, overflows into our families, and reaches into our community. That is who we are: a people shaped by the Word, filled with the Spirit, and devoted to making Jesus known in Cadiz and beyond.
