On the third Friday of each month, our ministers visit The Way to share a meal and a message of hope with the youth in our community.
We are blessed to receive spiritual guidance and apostolic oversight from Suffragan Bishop Phillip Johnson, an esteemed leader with a heart for both local ministry and global missions. Since 2016, he has faithfully served as the pastor of Apostolic Life Church in Bay City, Michigan, where he is known as a passionate leader, teacher, and dedicated servant of the Kingdom.
In 2023, his leadership was recognized on a global scale when he was appointed as the Missions Territory Liaison for the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World (P.A.W.). In this vital role, Suffragan Bishop Johnson provides spiritual fatherhood and direction to pastors and church leaders across numerous regions. He travels extensively to offer mentorship, teach insightful Bible classes, and preach the Word of God with profound conviction and clarity.
His global ministry has been particularly impactful in our mission work in Pakistan. Suffragan Bishop Johnson has traveled there to personally lead powerful evangelistic crusades that have touched countless lives. Furthermore, he plays a key role in empowering the next generation of national leaders by officiating the graduation ceremonies at the Bible colleges we support, imparting both wisdom and apostolic authority to the emerging ministers of the Gospel.
Suffragan Bishop Johnson’s leadership is an invaluable asset to our global outreach. His guidance ensures that our mission work remains grounded in sound doctrine and aligned with a powerful apostolic vision. We are honored to serve under his spiritual oversight as we continue to advance the Kingdom of God around the world.
Leading our church with vision and dedication, Elder Nate Miller has faithfully served as the pastor of Revival Church of Cadiz since 2015. His ministry is marked by a passion for God's Word and a deep desire to see the Kingdom of God advance, not just in our own community, but around the world.
In 2024, Pastor Miller expanded his ministry to the international field, answering the call to serve under the apostolic leadership of Suffragan Bishop Phillip Johnson. This step has allowed our church to take a more direct and impactful role in global missions, beginning with the powerful work in the nation of Pakistan.
As the Missions Pastor of Revival Church of Pakistan, Elder Miller is personally invested in the success of the ministry on the ground. He played a pivotal role in the launching of Revival Bible College and focuses his efforts on teaching, preaching, and providing crucial strategic support to our partner, Pastor Babar Azad, and other local church leaders. His hands-on involvement is instrumental in advancing the Gospel throughout Lahore and its surrounding regions.
Through the leadership of Pastor Miller, Revival Church of Cadiz is fulfilling the Great Commission. His commitment ensures that our partnership in Pakistan is strong, strategic, and Spirit-led, empowering national leaders to bring revival to their nation.
Our work in the nation of Pakistan is centered on a powerful and strategic partnership with Pastor Babar Azad and his wife, First Lady Mehak Azad. They serve as our dedicated, on-the-ground leaders, carrying a profound burden to share the Gospel and establish a lasting apostolic work in their home country.
Pastor Azad's journey in ministry is a testament to his unwavering commitment to the call of God. He began his formal training on August 15, 2004, when he enrolled at United Pentecostal Bible College in Lahore. Upon graduating on March 23, 2007, he immediately stepped into full-time service, beginning a remarkable 16-year period of volunteer ministry with the United Pentecostal Church.
From 2007 to 2023, Pastor Azad traveled tirelessly across the diverse regions of Pakistan with a singular focus: to preach the Word of God. His passionate evangelism was met with a powerful move of the Spirit. During this time, he personally baptized over 1,500 people in the name of Jesus and witnessed more than 1,200 of them receive the life-changing gift of the Holy Spirit, with the evidence of speaking in other tongues. This foundational work laid the groundwork for a new, expansive chapter of ministry.
In 2023, seeking to multiply his impact, Pastor Azad joined the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World (P.A.W.). With a vision to train the next generation, he launched the Apostolic Life Bible College on October 16, 2023. This vital institution is already equipping over 60 students for effective Gospel ministry, creating a powerful wave of new leaders and laborers for the harvest.
We are thrilled that this year, our partnership has reached a new level. Under the guidance of Suffragan Bishop Johnson and our own Pastor Miller, we have worked alongside Pastor Azad to establish the Revival Bible College and the Revival Church of Pakistan. This new endeavor provides a dedicated hub for apostolic teaching, discipleship, and fellowship, ensuring that the revival spreading across Pakistan is built on a solid foundation of biblical truth. Our support for Pastor Azad is about empowering a national leader to effectively reach his own people, and we believe the greatest days of harvest for Pakistan are still ahead.
Our mission work in the nation of Kenya is made possible through our direct partnership with Bishop Paul Karanja Mbuthia, a dynamic and anointed leader. Bishop Karanja is the pastor of King Jesus Celebration Church in Kitengela, Kenya, where he faithfully shepherds his congregation and serves as our key partner on the ground.
Bishop Karanja has a significant and growing ministry that extends far beyond his local church. Through a powerful media presence on platforms like Elevate TV Kenya, his preaching reaches a national audience, bringing a message of hope and faith to countless people. His ministry is also recognized internationally, as he is sought after to speak at churches in the United States and beyond.
We at Revival Church are honored to partner with Bishop Karanja to support his vision. Our collaboration is focused on empowering local leaders and meeting the tangible needs of the community. Through the support of our church and others, Bishop Karanja has been able to provide his pastors with motorbikes, enabling them to travel more effectively to minister to their congregations and evangelize in remote areas. Furthermore, our partnership has been instrumental in building wells, bringing life-giving clean water to communities in need.
